WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I am located at 210 N Cascade St, Fergus Falls, MN 56537. The entrance door for my office is located on the parking lot side of the building. My office is the first door on the left.
WHEN CAN I GET IN TO SEE YOU?
Demands for therapy are high at this time. We will work with you to find a schedule that fits, usually within one month, or provide you with resources to locate a therapist that meets your scheduling needs.
HOW DO I CONTACT YOU?
You can call me or send a message through the contact form on my website. I am not always able to answer the phone as I am often with clients. Please leave a voicemail message and I will return phone calls the next business day or sooner as time allows. If I will be away from my office for an extended period of time, that information will be provided in my voicemail message and through automated email responses.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST SESSION?
At the initial appointment, we will discuss your concerns, goals, and therapy needs.
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
Sessions are typically 55-60 minutes long.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME?
Typically, therapy is weekly. As you are feeling better, frequency can be decreased. Frequency of attending and planning for ending are an ongoing part of the therapeutic process. Know that you can return any time that you feel you need additional support on your journey.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
My current rates are listed here. I reserve a limited number of reduced fee appointments each week for those with financial needs.
CAN I USE MY INSURANCE?
In am in network with some insurance plans. Out-of-network benefits may also be available under your insurance contract. I am happy to request information from your insurance company to determine whether or not they provide out-of-network benefits. Since each insurance plan is different, it is your responsibility to contact your health insurance company directly to determine what, if any amount they will pay. Please call your insurance carrier directly for information about your benefits under your policy. I cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for any portion of the services I provide to you.
WHAT IS YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY?
What you share in therapy sessions is confidential and cannot be released to another individual or a third party without your written consent. There are limited exceptions to confidentiality. Exceptions to confidentiality include, but are not limited to, suspicion of abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult and threat of harm to yourself or others.
